Working principle and structureWorking principle of self-priming pump: self-priming pumps adopt an external mixing structure; the pump body consists of a water chamber, a storage chamber, a boiler shell, a backwater hole and a gas-water separation chamber and other parts. After the pump is started, the rotation of the impeller generates a centrifugal force to intake the air pumped into the water pipe and to mix it with the water inside the pump body into a mixture of gas and water, and discharge the mixture into the gas-water separation chamber at the outlet of the vortex chamber. Because the flow cross-section of the gas-water separation chamber is larger than the cross-section of the vortex chamber, which therefore reduces the flow rate; the air with lighter proportion is separated from the water, and is discharged from the air outlet and the water outlet. The degassed water flows back to the vortex chamber through the passage in the pump body, and continue to be mixed with the air, and then the air is isolated again; the water left in the pump is repeatedly cycled as a working fluid; as a result, the air in the water inlet and the pump is exhausted, and thus the pump enters the normal working state.II.
